Wild Animals and Gardens vocabulary.

They play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems and are often known for their unique adaptations and behaviors. Here are some examples of popular wild animals:
Bengal Tiger:
The Bengal tiger, also known as the Royal Bengal tiger, is a majestic big cat species found primarily in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. They are renowned for their distinctive orange coats with black stripes. Bengal tigers are powerful predators, capable of taking down large prey. However, their population is critically endangered due to habitat destruction and illegal hunting.

Polar Bear:
The polar bear is a magnificent marine mammal that inhabits the Arctic regions of the world, including Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Norway, and Russia. These bears are uniquely adapted to survive in cold environments, with a thick layer of blubber, dense fur, and specialized paws for walking on ice. Polar bears primarily feed on seals and are considered a vulnerable species due to climate change and the loss of sea ice.

Cheetah:
Cheetahs are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds up to 70 miles per hour (113 kilometers per hour) in short bursts. Found in various parts of Africa, these elegant big cats have slender bodies, distinctive black "tear marks" on their faces, and a spotted coat that aids in camouflage. They are expert hunters, relying on their speed and agility to catch prey. However, cheetah populations are threatened by habitat loss and poaching.
